Welcome to The United Kingdoms of Alterra
The United Kingdoms of Alterra, also known as The Alterran Empire, are headquartered on the HomeWorld of Alterra Prime in the ancient Capitol City of Atlantis. We have a second Capital City, our Economic Capital of Noble, also located on Alterra Prime. Both cities are considered a seat of power within the government, but Atlantis is the diplomatic and cultural center of our people.
There are 25 different member states that fall under the heading of "The United Kingdoms of Alterra", each state is known as a Kingdom and is ruled by an elected Governor. On the national level, the Kingdoms are represented in a unicameral Legislature, called the Senate and is headed by a Chancellor, elected by popular vote of the 25 member Kingdoms. Currently, Chancellor Katherine Avante is the presiding Head of Government for the Empire.
The Head of State for The Alterran Empire is Empress Romana of the Imperial House of Wolf.
